MOCO
MOCO is a graduation project inspired by the love for Vietnamese cacao and the need for a product that enhances creativity and mood. The outcome is a chocolate line with nuts and dried fruits.
Based on the insight that young people seek to boost their mood and creativity in their daily life, MOCO combines the uplifting qualities of chocolate and music. This combination not only shapes the product idea but also serves as the core inspiration for the art direction.
The real challenge was the process of brainstorming and creating visual identity using abstract illustrations to express both music and ingredients, paired with modern typography layout and packaging design—offering a product that feels unique, distinctive, and emotionally engaging.
If you like these illustrations, please reach out to Nhu Tuyet — she is my cherished collaborator and the artist behind these lovely artworks.
This project achieved the second-highest score of the semester. More notably, it was proposed for acquisition and featured by Robert Blatherwick, CEO of Adobe Inc., on the official Adobe Illustrator website.
In addition to the core identity, a small website was designed for the brand, showcasing how MOCO can be extended into digital platforms and customer interaction.
